Irish CSO Reports: Agricultural Price Indices - April 2014
Agricultural output price index down 0.4% in April 2014
The agricultural output price index decreased by 0.4% in April 2014 compared with March 2014. The agricultural input price index was up 0.1% over the same period. Thus, the resulting terms of trade index decreased by 0.5% in April 2014. See Tables 1, 2 and graph.
On an annual basis, the agricultural output price index in April 2014 was 6.6% lower than in April 2013. The agricultural input price index was down 5.6% in April 2014 compared with April 2013.
