Irish CSO Reports: Agricultural Price Indices - October 2013
Agricultural input price index down 1.4% in October 2013
The agricultural input price index decreased by 1.4% in October 2013 compared with September 2013. The agricultural output price index increased by 0.5% over the same period. Thus, the resulting terms of trade index increased by 2.0% in October 2013. See Tables 1, 2 and graph.
On an annual basis, the agricultural input price index in October 2013 was 2.6% lower than in October 2012. The agricultural output price index was up 4.5% in October 2013 compared with October 2012.
