Tulip Provides Food Fit for Future King

CHINA - British pig meat processor Tulip was amongst a select group of UK companies chosen to supply ingredients for a dinner hosted by HRH Duke of Cambridge for 140 VVIP guests, held during the recent Great Festival of Creativity in Shanghai.

The menu, chosen and prepared by Angela Hartnett, Chef Proprietor of Michelin-starred restaurant, Murano in Mayfair, author and TV celebrity chef, featured pork belly supplied by Tulip used in Angela's stunning Pork belly, kale, apple puree and prawn main course.

Martin Sauer, Tulip's Sales & Export Manager said: "We were absolutely delighted to be invited to supply the pork bellies that were used as the key ingredient for the main course in a special dinner hosted by HRH Duke of Cambridge.

"The British pork belly was produced at our Ashton facility in Cheshire and is true testament to the quality of products Tulip manufacturers here in the UK, to know that our British pork that was enjoyed by so many distinguished guests from around the world is a real honour for us all."

The event was an opportunity for companies to celebrate the level of creativity in British business as well forging stronger links with global enterprises, with key industries including technology, healthcare, fashion, entertainment and education showcased during the three day festival.
