Gustavo Kahl Appointed President of JBS Argentina

ARGENTINA - Brazilian based meat processing giant JBS S.A. has appointed Gustavo Kahl President of JBS operations in Argentina.

He will continue the work that has been developed by Artemio Listoni, who will return to Brazil to take up a role in the local beef Business unit.

Mr Kahl, aged 47, held various leadership positions within Cargill, and most recently was responsible for grain origination before joining JBS.

Before that, he worked for the beef Company Finexcor for 15 years in various capacities.

"Gustavo has excellent management skills and a deep knowledge of the Argentine beef industry. We are certain that he will continue the work that has been done in recent years, seeking to improve the performance of our activities in that country,” said Jose Augusto de Carvalho Junior, president of JBS Mercosul.
