Multivac Improves Automatic Traysealers

21 March 2012

GERMANY - Multivac has improved the performance of its automatic traysealer models and it has designed the product range to match the current market requirements even more closely.

Customers benefit from more efficient packaging procedures and an optimum price-performance ratio, the company says.

With immediate effect Multivac is equipping its automatic traysealer models, the T 700, T 800 and T 850, with dies which have greater lengths and widths. In this way the packaging specialist from the Allgäu is increasing the performance of these traysealers in relation to the number of packs per cycle.

In addition to this, Multivac has extended its portfolio with the T 700S, T 700XS and T 800S models. The two S models are equipped with somewhat smaller dies than their "large brothers", they are however positioned significantly lower in price.

"With this extension of our product portfolio we have brought our traysealer program into much tighter range bands, and through this we have matched it precisely to the requirements of the market as regards the different performance classes," said Bernd Jokele, Head of the Traysealer Business Division.

"Our customers benefit from more efficient packaging procedures and a very good price-performance ratio."

All S and XS models can also be equipped with the proven Smart Sealing technology for simple sealing applications without modified atmosphere. This innovative die concept has been available since the beginning of 2011. With this concept Multivac has significantly improved the cycle output of automatic traysealers for producing packs without modified atmosphere. Thanks to optimised machine sequences and new die technology, it has been possible to significantly improve the process speed and the output per cycle. The costs of running the machine and the use of resources are reduced considerably by the new machine concept.
