Meat Safety Special Theme at VIV Europe.

NETHERLANDS - Meat Safety is a new special theme which will be featured at VIV Europe in Utrecht from 20-22 April.

There wll be a special pavilion, dedicated to meat safety, in hall 12, sponsored by Positive Action Publications Ltd (International Pig Topics, International Poultry Production & International Food Hygiene) and VIV.

The pavilion will be the centre for innovative developments in the field of meat safety.

Different activities which will take place at the pavilion are: a Meat Safety Quiz, a Meat Safety Walk, a Meat Safety Information Lounge and a Conference Information desk.

The participants of the Meat Safety Quiz can win a free five year subscription to International Food Hygiene, published by Positive Action Publications Ltd.

The Meat Safety walk will guide visitors along all the companies at VIV Europe that are related to Meat Safety. The information lounge offers you the opportunity to read up on this special theme. At the Conference information desk, visitors can get more information about the conference.

In co-operation with a steering committee, the Meat Safety Conference has been developed. The themes that will be discussed during the conference are: farming & breeding, nutrition, slaughtering & processing processes, retail & consumer issues, measuring & monitoring and opportunities & threats. The Meat Safety Conference takes place in the Irene conference room on Tuesday 20 April from 13.00 to 16.30 hours and on Wednesday 21 April from 10.00 to 17.30 hours.
